A soon-to-be mother is a beautiful sight... there is something magical and amazing about the fact that there is a very small person getting ready to enter the world within a woman's womb. Who will this person be? What will they look like? How will they impact the world they are about to enter? No one knows for sure, but I was honored to help document my friend's baby before he/she enters into their lives.

Davidson Family Portraits

It has been three weeks too long that I have created a blog posting... no excuses. I have been doing some fun shoots and have really enjoyed getting to know my clients more and more. The Davidson family hired me to take some photos of their two adorable sons in San Francisco. The shoot was in the afternoon, after the boys woke up from their nap, and by the end of it we were all ready for a nap. Kayla

I had the honor of shooting my friend Jason's little girl Kayla this weekend. She is pretty comfortable in front of the camera and we all had a great time. Kids, in general, are so much fun because they just crack up for the simplest of reasons... I literally made a Dinosaur noise and got the most authentic laugh and smile! I am going to try this technique with one of my older clients next...

Senator Boxer Enviro Awards Dinner

This awards dinner was quite the experience. I never thought that being in a room full of political powerhouses would be so much fun... This is my second event with the Susie Tompkins Buell Foundation and I am thoroughly thrilled to help in any way possible. The event was held high on Nob Hill at the Fairmont's Crown Room where the views outside were in competition for the attention of wonderful speakers of the nights event.
